The book "Liar" is told by a high school senior who has just lost her boyfriend. The girls name is Micah Wilkins and she is a complusive liar. Micah starts off telling how she heard that her boyfriend Zach Rubin was found dead. She then proceds to jump back and forth from when she first started high school and the present time of dealing with the death of Zach. The reader finds out that Micah let the whole school believe she was a boy during her freshman year at high school up untill another girl heard her laugh. There are a few people she mentions that she talks to, not often but still talks to. Most of those people are Zach's friends are are in her classes. There is one teacher that she is fond of and that teacher is Yayeko Shoji the biology teacher. The school is not one that is big an athletic talent although they due have sports. The schools seems to really care for its students.
After Zach has been found dead one of his friends named Brandon Duncan comes out and tells everyone that Micah is Zach's after hours girlfriend right in front of his girlfriend that everyone knows about. Her name is Sarah Washington and wants to know everything she can about his after hours fling. As Micah goes back and forth she gives you the background of her family, how Sarah is now driving her crazy with questions, and how her and Zach finally started to talk. Centreal Park is their place, the place they met, ran and spent time together. At one point Sarah follows Micah home to see if she could get information about Micah and Zach's relationship and to see if she could see why he liked her. As Sarah is in Micah's room she realizes Micah has a sweater of Zach's (and it still smells like him) she becomes jealous because she only has the things he bought her never anything that actually belonged to him or that he had worn before he passed away. So far in the book it gets a little confusing to know exactly what Micah is talking about and when You (the reader) need to just follow along as closely as you can while reading or you will be lost.

Monica, Let's chat about the blog requirements. You needed to do a Guided Response this week. Also, please avoid summarizing the text; we already know the plotline. Instead I want to hear your amazing thoughts!
